Grand Knight's Message

As the current Grand Knight of the venerable Hollywood Council 2406, KofC, it is my privilege and honor to welcome viewers to the initiation of our website. From its beginnings in the milieu of the old Hollywood of the 1920s, our council has weathered the vast social, economic and demographic changes that have roiled our country and our local community.

As a fraternal, benevolent, and social organization of Catholic gentlemen, we mirror the values of the national KofC in welcoming all, of any race, ethnicity or social status, who uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church.

Hollywood Council serves five parishes in the greater Hollywood area, and we are pleased to respond to their Pastor’s requests to the extent of our ability.

Our Knight’s Life monthly bulletin, ongoing from the late 1950s, has been a model of publications of its type; reporting not only on the local interests of the council and the milestones of its members, but reflecting the pro-life and pro-family values to which the KofC is dedicated.

Our nine yearly social evenings, open to the wives, widows, and female friends of our council, features a cocktail hour, full course dinner at a modest price, sometimes bingo and always good fellowship in a happy atmosphere.
